I especially look forward to their incredible poke nachos, but every item Ive ever ordered has been fresh and delicious. This time I tried the prime rib dip and it was probably the best one yet. “ Came here for dinner and sat at the upstairs patio and the service, view, weather, and food were all excellent. I got the chicken Marsala and poke nachos both of which were very good. I wanted to sit outside and the server opened the outdoor umbrella, turned the fire on, and made sure we were comfortable. It was very cozy and I appreciated the attention to make the visit so special. ”

“ Food was very good, I had the Mahi Mahi and my wife had the chicken Marsala. We both enjoyed them very much. We had great service. We sat outside in mid October and the ambience was great. The Mahi Mahi was in a red curry sauce which was flavorful with a little heat to it. It was plated on a bed of Jasmine rice and a side of green beans. Everything was cooked nicely. The fish might have been just a hint on the done side but still very good. The beans had great flavor, were big, and still had a bite to them. I would order it again. I did pick this dish because it was gluten free and they were great communicating this. ”
“ We stopped by Plank Kitchen on a Wednesday for happy hour, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. This hidden gem, tucked away off Sutter Street, offers a great experience. Although I visit Sutter Street occasionally, I usually head toward the amphitheater side, so discovering Plank Kitchen was a pleasant surprise. The food was fantasticIm not sure if they operate as a scratch kitchen, but the quality definitely deserves a thumbs up. They also offer some really cool happy hour specials on beers, drinks, and food. The staff was equally impressive. Despite being busy, Adrian, the bartender, made sure we were well taken care of. We enjoyed our first visit so much that we returned the following week, and the second experience lived up to the high expectations set by the first. If youre there for happy hour, I highly recommend trying the wings, poke nachos, and BBQ pork sliders. During our dinner visit, we had the Farmers Market Salad with Shrimp and the Prime Rib Dip with friesboth were equally delicious. Plank Kitchen offers good food, a welcoming atmosphere, and friendly staff. Its definitely worth a visit! ”
